PtP ANNUAL APPEAL

Dear Friends

This day marks the completion of 12 fruitful years of PtP ministry. During this time we have trained hundreds of Christian counselors, counseled thousands of individuals, touched many families and sensitized many churches and Christian organizations to develop counseling ministries.

PtP is one of the best ministries you can invest in. Our ministry is governed by a sound financial policy.

  • PtP is God’s ministry. It is run by faith. We look to God for all our resources.

  • PtP is an Indian ministry birthed in India, headed and overseen by Indian members and therefore it will look primarily for Indian funding.

  • PtP has built strong relationships with its Board Members, alumni, beneficiaries, friends and well-wishers. Specific presentations of its financial needs are made to these groups. PtP does not make an open, public appeal for funds.

  • PtP encourages its donors not to divert funds earmarked for their churches and other ministries. PtP encourages planned giving over and above that.

  • PtP believes true giving to God is an ‘investment’ in God’s kingdom and the ‘return on investment’ is ‘thirty, sixty and hundred fold.’

Figures speak for themselves. For the last 11 years, we have never experienced a crisis that was not met by God’s faithfulness. God has met all our needs even during the last year.

Nearly 60 percent of our ministry is self-funded and a little over 40 percent is supported through donations.

So why should you invest in this ministry?

It is God’s ministry.

Your ‘Return On Investment’ is 30, 60 and 100 fold. It is a superior revenue model.

We need Rs. 32.78 lakhs during the year 2009-2010

You can invest in this ministry through:

  1. Sponsor a candidate:

    1. Introduction to Biblical Counseling (Correspondence course): Rs. 600 per person

    2. Introduction to Biblical Counseling Course: Rs. 500 per person

    3. Advanced Biblical Counseling (Correspondence course): Rs. 3,000 per person

    4. Advanced Biblical Counseling – Level 1 Rs. 5,000 per person

    5. Advanced Biblical Counseling – Level 2 Rs. 10,000 per person

    6. Present a resource set to a candidate:

      1. Before You Tie The Knot Rs. 100 per copy

      2. Choices for Life Rs. 100 per copy

      3. A set of Booklets Rs. 90 per set

  2. We need two laptops and two LCD projectors for our two new regions – West and South.

    1. Laptop costs: Rs.50,000 and for two the cost is Rs. 1,00,000

    2. LCD Projector costs Rs. 50,000 and for two the cost is Rs. 1,00,000

  3. Two books to be printed and distributed

    1. How to open and run a counseling centre – Manuscript ready for printing: Rs. 30,000

    2. A Book on Marriage – to be commissioned: Rs. 1,00,000

  4. We need three LCD monitors for our office PCs.

    1. LCD monitor costs: Rs. 7,500 and for three the cost is Rs. 22,500

  5. A larger office space. We now have a 1000sqft two bed-room apartment totally rent free, thanks to a generous Board member. We need 2000sqft office that provides two exclusive counseling rooms and more office space for more staff.

  6. We need Rs. 5000 per day to run the ministry. And a lot happens at PtP in a single day. We decided to double the number of training programs in the next four years.
