Pain and pleasure are but
Two sides of the same coin;
Pause and ponder,
Can one without the other give currency to the coin?

The two deities of life;

The crests and troughs of life;
Pause and ponder . . can you not
Ride the rhythm and reach the shores of life?

Black and white are not just a matter of depth;
One absorbs, the other reflects,
Pause and ponder . . . can you not
