First Friday of the Month

Subject: International Level Spiritual Warfare

We overcome demons (1) in the Name of Jesus (2) by His Blood (3) by the Word (4) by Prayer (5) by our Testimony and (6) by the Power of the Holy Spirit. (Revelation 12: 10, 11; Mark 16: 17)
Habakkuk lived at the time of national crisis with violence, iniquity, strife contention, powerless laws and perverse justice. God told him that more evil people are about to attack the city. He interceded and waited and God told him to write down the vision and run with it. He also told him that the just shall live by faith. With this faith, in the midst of devastation, Habakkuk boldly declared, “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 1: 1-5, 2: 1-4, 14, 5:17, 18)

The whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one (1 John 5: 19). Satan is working fast because he knows that his time is short (Revelation 12: 2). Worship of Mammon, mind control, media, pornography, international Gay rallies, New Age, other false religions and their Gurus, plundering poor nations, environmental pollution, violation of human rights, millions of refugees, killing in the name of religion, terrorism, genocide and racism are at their height.

No one can mock God and get away with it. Killing of missionaries and burning of churches, anti-conversion laws and other activities all over the world have resulted in major natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, droughts, famines and cyclones. Islamic nations do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that the Prince of peace died on the cross for them. No wonder they have no peace. God is constantly mocked even as Biblical values are eroded in Christian nations. Remember 11th September 2001 when World Trade Center and the highly fortified Pentagon became piles of rubble. (Deuteronomy 28: 45-52)

Like Habakkuk in the midst of devastation, we must not focus on the circumstances but boldly declare that because He lives, the just shall live by faith and therefore the earth will be filled with the glory of our Lord.

:: PRAYER ::

Father we thank You for raising Christ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And You have put all things in subjection under His feet. Father let not the nations be deceived because You cannot be mocked. What they sow, that they will also reap. (Ephesians 1: 21, 22; Galatians 6: 7)
O Father, we thank You because there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to Spirit. For the law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8: 1, 2)
O Father, grant strategic vision to all believers that they may run with it. May each member the church identify the real enemy and not waste their time and energy battling with each other but invest it against principalities, powers, and the rulers of darkness and against hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
We pray that every member of the Church should seek and destroy every legal entry point of the demons. They should be well trained knowing that the strongman is fully armed with lies and deception and guards his house (hearts & minds of people). But we also know that when the just live by faith then the demons are no match for us. (Luke 11: 20-22)
Lord grant that believers will learn how to wield the Scripture ‘the double edged sword’ and demolish the demonic control of the minds of the people and open their spiritual eyes. May our ‘natural man’ die and be replaced with the mind of Christ. (1 Cor 2: 14-16)
Lord, thank You for raising us and seating us with Christ in heavenly places to trample the head of the Satan under our feet. You are now waiting for us to complete the task and to declare the earth ready for Your praise and worship. (Ephesians 2: 6; Romans 16: 20)

Second Friday of the Month

Subject: Spiritual Warfare at a National Level.

“For we are the temples of the living God. As God has said, ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be my people.” (2 Corinthians 6: 16)

When Paul visited Athens, the capital city of Greece and saw the city steeped in idolatry, his spirit was so provoked that he went around and talked about this problem with the Jews with anyone who cared to listen. Without being offensive he told that God cannot be made with gold, silver or stone. He boldly proclaimed Jesus, the Unknown God to the intellectuals. (Acts 17: 16-23)

We know that if Paul had visited our country, he would not have sat quietly. Our history and culture tells us that our ancestors were consumed with idolatry for millennia, practiced temple prostitution, instituted a demeaning caste system, burnt living women on the funeral pyres of their dead husbands and shed innocent blood by offering human sacrifice, all in the name of religion. Even today young brides are burnt for dowry. False religious leaders promise green pastures but take millions of innocent sheep to the slaughterhouse. The whole country lies under the sway of the wicked one. Yet, unlike Paul, hardly anyone seems provoked in the spirit about it. (1 John 5: 19)

In a temple town, seventy thousand people were invited to take a vow to finish off all the Christians and other minorities from this country. Intercessors were provoked in the spirit and mobilized thousands of believers to intercede. God heard their prayer and on the appointed day a thunderstorm hit the city. All the arrangements were destroyed and nobody turned up for the swearing in. The news papers screamed, ‘The mega show has become a mega flop.’

Even the land mourns because of the sins of the people and will not yield its strength. Only by our identificational repentance and intercession, the curses will be broken, the land will be healed and this country will be transformed. Therefore, the Lord is looking for intercessors. (Hosea 4: 1-3; Ezekiel 22: 30)

:: PRAYER ::

Oh Jehovah Tsidkenu our righteousness. Jesus is the Righteous Branch from the line of David and our righteousness, both for Jews and Gentiles. Lord anyone who believes in You will be washed by the blood and clothed with white robe of righteousness. We praise You for making the human heart Your holy temple to dwell. Lord provoke us in our spirit so that we may go and tell every citizen that he can also become a holy temple of the righteous God. (Jeremiah 23: 5, 6; Acts17: 24-31)
Father, let every one know that You have created all mankind in Your own image and likeness and You will not tolerate anyone who will despise those for whom Jesus has shed His precious blood.
Lord, let every citizen know that from You alone he can get the keys of the kingdom for shutting the gates of hell and opening the gates of heaven. If only two believers will agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done by our Father in heaven. (Matthew 16: 19; 18: 18-20)
O Father, let every citizen know that ‘ Moksha’ (salvation) is not through ‘Karmas’ (works) but as many as received Him and believed in His name, to them He gave the right to become the children of God. Father, You will not look at the sins of anyone who is covered with the blood of Jesus, because now they are truly in your image and likeness. (John 1: 12)
Lord, may every person know that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. We only have to confess our sins, repent, believe in Your Lordship and obey Your commandments. Father, let them find the ‘Sanatan Sat Guru’ (Eternal Truth Teacher) in Jesus. (Romans 5: 8; 1 John 1: 7-9)
Lord, we bless You because not only demons are subject to us, but through our identificational repentance and intercession, the names of countless citizens of our country can be written in the Book of the Lamb. Father, help us to fulfill this awesome responsibility. (Luke 10: 17-20)

Third Friday of the Month

Subject: Battle Against Territorial Spirits

“The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool. (Acts 2: 34-35)

The devil has appointed territorial spirits called principalities, powers and rulers of darkness who take care of the demonic activities in their territories. It may be a country or state or a city. Under them there are thousands of demons that obey their commands. (Ephesians 6: 12)

When Daniel fasted and prayed for the release of Jewish people from slavery in Babylon, then an invisible angelic war started in the heavenly places. The territorial principality called the Prince of Persia stopped the angel who was sent to Daniel. Then Archangel Michael fought with the principality and released the messenger. Similarly, through our intercession, the demonic powers in the heavenlies are broken. Paul called the Devil ‘the prince of the power of the air’. (Daniel 10: 12, 13, 20, Ephesians 2:2)

All major advances in the kingdom are associated with church planting movement. All church planting movements are preceded by major prayer movements. Prayer movements with identificational repentance result in breaking of the demonic strongholds. Breaking of the strongholds results in evil spirits vacating the area and then the churches can be planted and His kingdom comes.

Ultimately all church planting is spiritual warfare. Without first destroying the demonic powers, the Kingdom of God cannot be established because both kingdoms cannot coexist. Many preach the gospel but leave the demons free to destroy their work. Due to lack of this understanding, life long efforts of many evangelists produce very little ‘fruit that remains’. Every believer has the authority to expel demons. (Matthew 12: 28-30)

Every conversion is a political statement because every convert is an agent of change, who changes the equation between the government of light and the government of darkness. This is why every conversion is resisted tooth and nail.

:: PRAYER ::

Almighty Father, we thank You because one day You will make the devil, his principalities and powers and rulers of darkness and his evil army Your foot stool and they will be bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years and then thrown into the lake of fire forever. Lord You have the keys and what You shut, no one can open and what You open, no one can shut. (Revelation 9: 11; 20: 1-3; 3: 7, 8)
Lord, we proclaim to all the peoples that the Lord of the universe now stands and knocks at the door of their hearts and if anyone hears His voice and opens the door, He will come in and will have a fellowship meal with him and his household. (Luke 19: 5-9; Revelations 3: 20)
May they know that all our deeds and our righteousness are like filthy rags. O Father, all people should know that they could be saved by grace through faith, which is a free gift of God. We are no longer sinners, because our sins have been removed as far as the east is from the west. (Ephesians 2: 8; Psalm 103: 12)
O Lord, we pray that all people may know that all paths do not lead to God. Only Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one can go to the Father except through Him. May they also know that You and the Father are one. (John 14: 6; 10: 30, 38)
We pray that all Christians will constantly remember that the Lord Jesus is coming back soon and we shall be known by our fruits. May every Christian be fruitful; otherwise he will be thrown into the eternal fire. (John 15: 1-8)
O Holy Spirit, we thank You because He that is within us is greater than the devil, who is in the world. Thank You for empowering us to bind the territorial spirits and to bring the prince of the power of the air, crashing down like lightning. Lord let the whole world convert into Your kingdom. (1 John 4: Luke 10: 17, 18)

Fourth Friday of the Month

Subject: Battle for the Minds of Men.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4: 12)

The devil is cunning and has at least 6,000 years of experience in deceiving people. The devil attacked Eve at the level of her mind and both Adam and Eve ended up disobeying God.

Disobedience resulted in the Spirit of God leaving them. They could no longer see God because Satan had blinded their mind’s eyes. (2 Corinthians 4: 4)

Now when we confess our sins and repent and accept Jesus as Lord then the Spirit of God returns to dwell within us and we are born again. We are no longer controlled by our natural and logical minds but by the Spirit of God. If any one does not have the Spirit and the mind of Christ then he is not His own (Romans 8: 9, 1 Corinthians 2: 16). It is the word of God, which like a sword cuts asunder the connection between the human mind and the human spirit and replaces them with the Mind and the Spirit of God. (Hebrews 4: 12)

We battle not with flesh but our weapons can demolish strongholds in the minds of the people. Only then are the captives set free to receive the Spirit of God. Unless you bind and expel the strongman and demolish his strongholds from the minds of the people, how else can you break the chains of oppression, restore spiritual sight and proclaim liberty to captives? (Luke 4: 18, Matt. 12: 29)

During the Presidential visit, the whole city is prepared to receive him. All the rubbish and the squatters are removed. The roads are repaired, the buildings are painted and welcome arches are erected everywhere. Remember the King of kings and Lord of lords is coming soon. We have to remove ‘devil the squatter’ and all the spiritual filth and make sure that our city is all spruced up to welcome Jesus. We need to get into the fast track to finish the task.

:: PRAYER ::

O Father, ‘In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God’. With that two-edged sword, which is the Word of God, we now divide asunder the hold of the strongman who through deception and lies controls the minds of the people. (John 1: 1; 1 Corinthians 10: 19-21)
Lord, on Your behalf we warn every believer of every nation, tribe, and language that if they will not make disciples of all nations by giving their testimony then the stones will cry out. (Luke 19: 40)
O Father, You are a just God. We pray that people should know that the time is drawing near, when You will judge the living and the dead. Therefore, we proclaim to all you people that you confess your sins, repent and accept Jesus as the Lord of your life and be saved before it is too late. (Revelation 18: 1-4)
Lord, we pray for those Christians who were once enlightened and have tasted the heavenly gift and had become partakers of Holy Spirit and know the judgment to come, yet have made no effort to win over any soul. Lord! We intercede for them that they may urgently seek to be fruitful so that their names may not be blotted out from the Book of the Lamb. (Hebrews 6: 4-6)
O Father, we pray that the Holy Spirit may be poured in abundance on this land, so that this land will be healed and there will be justice, godliness, peace and prosperity. Lord You will not despise a broken and a contrite spirit. (Psalm 51: 17; Isaiah 32: 15-18)
O Lord, thank You for giving us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus with the eyes of our hearts enlightened, we know what is the hope of our calling and our inheritance and the riches of glory in Christ Jesus... (Ephesians 1: 17-18)
