An image of the heart is the central element of the logo. A heart pierced by thorns of suffering, misunderstanding, rejection, stigma and uncaring attitudes. The lower portion is a curved red ribbon, the internationally recognized symbol of AIDS. Along with the other components, the logo speaks of hope, deliverance, acceptance.
