The construction of a Care Centre was a long cherished dream of all who were involved with ACCEPT and earnest efforts were initiated for its realisation. With the help of concerned people in different places enough funds were raised to buy a land measuring 1¼ acres. By the grace of God and the physical and financial contributions of many of God's children, the construction work commenced ... and progressed.
The dream became a reality when in Feb 02 Bro. Tej Paul, elder of Mysore Bethel Assembly cut the ribbon to open the doors of the Care Centre. Dr. Stanley Macaden shared the Word of God with more than 300 believers from different places who had gathered for the occasion.
The centre was formally opened to the public by Hon. Shri S.M. Krishna, Chief Minister of Karnataka who lauded the efforts of ACCEPT in its fight against AIDS.
Today the activities of ACCEPT revolve around the 25 bed, 14 room Care Centre. The centre has rooms for accommodating patients, kitchen, dining room, prayer hall, laboratory, training/class room and recreational room. It also has counselling facilities for patients and their families. The activities here have touched lives and are making a difference for patients, their families and society at large.
